RYLE
STADIUM RENOVATION PROJECT April 17, 2008 Dear Friend of Ryle, Hopefully, you heard the great news! We formally launched a campaign in mid-February to raise money to install synthetic turf at the Ryle High School Stadium. That initiative was part of our plan to provide the best facilities available to our students and Union residents. Thanks to an incredibly generous gift in the amount of $750,000 from the Clifford Borland Family Fund, we will complete Phase I of our Stadium Renovation project in August 2008. This initial phase includes installation of synthetic turf and resurfacing of the track that is used regularly by many community members. We immediately transitioned to Phase II after we received the large donation in March. Our efforts are carried out in honor of a distinguished Northern Kentucky business and community leader, Mr. Clifford Borland, Sr. Phase II, priority one, is field house renovation with other improvements to follow. The field house is a central athletic training facility that houses locker rooms, weight rooms and coaching staff offices. All Phase II projects will be completed, as funds are available, pending school board approval of construction plans. The enclosed Stadium Renovation Project Phase II brochure details project goals, needs and timeframes. Community-minded businesses and caring individuals like you, willing to make a special gift to invest in the lives of our young people, can make this project a success in 2008. Will you permanently attach your good name to a stadium walkway, wall or sign with a generous gift of $250 or more by June 1? Please submit your gift to a designated fundraiser of to the Ryle High School office by mail or in person. For gifts of $250 or more, please submit the “Other Contribution Information” sleeve from the brochure along with your gift to let us know exactly how you want your gift acknowledged in the stadium.
